On November 1, the New Quality Productive Forces Creating Innovative Future - The Coffee Gathering with Masters (Luncheon), co-hosted by Shenzhen Center for International Exchange of Personnel (SCIEP), Shenzhen Enterprise Innovation and Development Promotion Association, and Beijing Science and Education Development Foundation, and sponsored by Mingsheng Holdings (Shenzhen) Group Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen FORESEA Cube Information Technology Co., Ltd., was held at Four Seasons Hotel in Shenzhen. Steve S. Hoffman, Godfather of Silicon Valley Venture Capital and renowned angel investor, Jason Ho Kin Tung, President of the Macau Technology General Association and Co-founder of the BEYOND International Science and Technology Innovation Expo (BEYOND Expo), and enterprise representatives were invited to exchange views.

At this luncheon moderated by Yuchen Jin, commentator for CGTN and President of the Wharton China Finance Association, a total of 31 representatives from banking sector, financial investment sector, and innovative startups attended. On behalf of the hosts, Hai Li, Director-General of SCIEP, and Xiaofang Hu, Secretary-General of the Beijing Science and Education Development Foundation and Chinese partner of Steve S. Hoffman, delivered speeches. As Hai Li mentioned, November 1 is “Shenzhen Talent Day”, all guests are not only friends of SCIEP but also innovative talents from all sectors in Shenzhen. In a relaxed atmosphere, guests were encouraged to engage in deep discussions, explore advanced models of innovation and entrepreneurship, seek new opportunities for business development, and envision a better future.

During the self-introduction session of the special guests, Jason Ho Kin Tung played a promotional video of BEYOND Expo, highlighting its efforts in providing an exchange platform for technology companies, and extended an invitation to the 2025 BEYOND Expo to all guests. Following this, Steve S. Hoffman delivered a keynote speech on AI Breakthroughs & Tech Innovations in Silicon Valley. With his vivid presentation and rich case studies, guests engaged in in-depth discussioAI Breakthroughs & Tech Innovations in Silicon Valleyns with him on the pros and cons of artificial intelligence and various technological products, as well as their venture capital prospects.

The luncheon also featured a book signing ceremony for Steve S. Hoffman’s classic venture capital work, Making Elephants Fly, hailed as an “entrepreneurship guide tailored for Chinese entrepreneurs”. Guests obtained signed copies and took photos with Steve S. Hoffman. On behalf of the hosts, Li Hai presented commemorative gifts to both Steve S. Hoffman and Jason Ho Kin Tung.
