First-ever Macao Parallel Session Promoting Talent Exchange to a High Level
With the support of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the conference held the Macao Parallel Session for the first time this year. The Macao Parallel Session had sessions of discussion, demonstration, and matching. It organized a total of about 60 people to attend the conference, including representatives of top enterprises in the Mainland, researchers from the University of Macao and Macao University of Science and Technology, entrepreneurs, and youths from Macao. It served as a platform for exchange and introduction of high-level talents, promoted international cooperation, and facilitated the industrialization of innovation and entrepreneurial achievements.
Deng Xiaojun delivered a speech saying that the session would focus on the theme of “Gathering Hong Kong and Macao Talents and Creating a Flourishing Greater Bay Area”. With the advantage of Macao’s internationalization, the session would take innovation as the guide and talents as the foundation and focus on the demand for scientific and technological innovation and talent development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The session aimed to create a high-level regional innovation system with the support of the state and provinces in the Mainland, to make greater contributions to building China into a world-class science and technology powerhouse.
In his address, José Chui said that the first CIEP Macao Parallel Session not only reflected the state's strong support for Macao’s talent development and technological innovation but also built an important communication platform with both intellectual resources and innovation elements. With the momentum of the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the two regions will advance to a higher level in terms of innovation and talent exchange. MYEIC will continue to play a role as a bridge, using resources to attract and gather talents, and build platforms and ladders for talents.
In his address, Frederico Ma said that the SAR Government attached great importance to personnel training and introduced different policies and measures to support talent development and to promote technology research and development. The conference created a new exchange and cooperation platform for the Mainland and Macao. Through the event, enterprises and talents from the two regions could understand the current status and trends of technological innovation in the two regions . All regions achieved fruitful results in previous conferences. It was hoped that the representatives of Macao would seize this opportunity to build a network and a bridge for future cooperation.
Exchanges between Enterprises for Talent Exchange
At the session, Satellite (Zhuhai) Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd., Centre Testing International Group Co., Ltd., Macao Fresh Life Technology Co., Ltd. and Macao Viking Lezhi Technology Development Co., Ltd. introduced their development path.
